S1c00 driver not

I have used Microsoft Odbc for oracle driver to access the Oracle 10g database. The above error occurs only with Windows Server Operating system. Thanks for your suport. My application tries to read indexes. Above link talks about Transaction server and Distributed Transcations.

Will this solution resolve my problem? I use Oracle 8. Could you be more specific on your environment? If you can provide a simple repro, that will be great I also use Oracle 8. The same S1C00 message occurs using third party datadirect commercial ODBC driver, and I've just spent the night upgrading applying patches to win2k and sql server and testing, but the problem appears to remain unchanged.
