If you only ran the executable on the disks which directed you to Steam then just downloaded and installed from Steam, you wouldn't have been asked to insert the other two disks.
Just for information, Steam provides a way to circumvent the need to download from their servers and use disks instead. Installing from Disc instead of Steam Using Steam launch options to install retail games from disc Log in to Steam and click on Library.
Right-click on the game, select Delete local content, and confirm. Insert the first disc into your computer. Press OK. Steam will launch and ask you to sign in if you do not have your password saved. Try it, its easy. I tried this with all 3 discs in Daemon Tools and got the same result. Can anyone help?? I have DL a movie and have cd1.
