Goto control panel and add hardware and look for the audio controller once you have it sound settings should light up. I went into Add Hardware, selected Sigmatel, it started installing and then I got the following error message. That means that the device is probably not compatible. Do you have a recovery disk for your operating system? The reason I ask is that it would be the first thing I tried or maybe using the disk to add and configure all windows components.
