I was able to start the print spooler after i started this other service, but i never would have thought to do that if I had not read your posting.

Now i need to figure out how to install my printer, i think i may have deleted in an attempt to delete and then reinstall it at a later point. I cant find my CD-rom and it's not plug and play I have a Lexmark series, any ideas about how i can re-install my printer?

Wednesday, September 17, AM. First it tells me that I have an error which is a connection problem and when I go into services to turn on everything I'm supposed to they won't start even though I go through all the dependencies and make sure THEY are turned on.

Ive done 3 system restores that have failed. Make sure that all items that starts with hp???? On the command prompt, type services.

Look for print spooler and stop this service. Go back to services. Thank you, fix worked. I had tried other suggestion with zero results. Can't thank you enough. Perform the following steps to enable the lexbce server and print spooler on the host computer: Click the Start button, and then click Run.

The Run window appears. Type services. Locate Print Spooler in the list of services, right-click the service, and then left-click start.

Locate Lexbce Server in the list of services, right-click the service, and then left-click start Locate RPC services in the list of services, right-click the service, and then left-click start If you get any error like , follow these steps: Right-click "Print Spooler" and select "Properties".

Click on the "Recovery" tab and change all 3 drop-down boxes to "Restart The Service". Make sure the 2 text boxes underneath say "1" in them. Print a test page and check for it.
